India Nite Beach Party – A Cultural Extravaganza

Each year, the Hero World Challenge is about much more than just great golf. As play concludes on-course at Albany, Bahamas the action is just getting started.

Reimaged in 2018, PGA TOUR players, Albany members, sponsors and invited guests enjoyed the annual tradition of India Nite Beach Party. The event, held at the spectacular Albany House overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, brought together the best of Indian culture combined with Albany’s flare for beach-front entertainment.

India Nite Beach Party featured various forms of entertainment that enthralled guests well into the night. The “Dances of India” was a cultural extravaganza featuring a vibrant display of India’s rich diversity and celebratory spirit showcased on Albany’s Aviva Beach. That spirit was brought to life with a series of scintillating performances by entertainers from Dehli, India, showcasing the various dance forms of India, such as Bhangra, Ghoomar, Kathak, Haryanvi and Kathakali.

The Indian spirit also came to life through the dining menu full of traditional Indian cuisine prepared by chefs flown in for the occasion, who presented a lavish spread of sumptuous grill and barbeque preparations, including Kebabs, Biryani and more. Upon arrival, all guests were adorned with various types of traditional Indian jewelry, including bangles and scarfs at the Indian Bazaar.

Following the Indian entertainment, DJ Ignite and DJ Monty took to the turntables to provide the soundtrack for a beach front dance party that kept the party rocking.

As much as the event was about fabulous cuisine and entertainment, the evening was also about giving back. India Nite Beach Party featured a premium charity raffle benefitting the TGR Foundation. Prizes included exclusive sports experiences, vacations and more.
