Hideki Matsuyama wins 2016 Hero World Challenge

Making his third start in the World Challenge, Hideki Matsuyama carried a huge lead into Sunday and held on for the victory at the 2016 Hero World Challenge. His 18-under was two strokes better than runner-up Henrik Stenson, who finished at 16-under par.

For Matsuyama, the win marks his fourth in his past five individual starts. Last year at the Hero World Challenge, Matsuyama finished in a tie for 17th, and finished 13th in 2014.
